How The Motor Archive handles your account, commission and photographs.
Last updated: July 28, 2026
The Motor Archive may use a shared identity service across affiliated storefronts, but commissions, credits, orders and payment records remain scoped to the storefront where they were created.
We retain the vehicle details you submit, the studio's decisions and the resulting portrait so you can access the private record in Your Entries.
Source photographs are private by default. They are used to generate and assess your portrait and are not added to The Register.
After studio work and any correction are complete, you can permanently delete the source photographs from Your Entries. Deletion does not remove the finished portrait, payment records or the studio audit record.
Purchased portraits remain private unless you explicitly publish them. A published entry exposes only the portrait and approved public vehicle, Plate and format details. You can return it to private at any time.
Commission and print payments are processed through The Motor Archive's Stripe account. Production and delivery details are shared only with the providers needed to fulfil your order.
